Today's paper
Here is a link to an editorial in today's News & Record. It says I'll be appearing in a chicken suit this weekend, but it'll actually be next weekend. It seems like people are really excited about this chicken costume...
Amy, It's good to see you taking this up. I have a blog about Guilford County and environmental/sustainability issues. Check it out at http://greeningguilford.typepad.com. Have you heard of Path to Freedom?
Please do not recommend taking roosters out of the ordinance. Most neighborhood dogs are noisier and smellier than roosters/chickens; my neighbor to the rear is proof of that. I know first-hand how hard (impossible) it is to get animal control to address this with dogs. Roosters can be housed separately from the chickens and noise can be dealt with that way; It's only a problem in early morning hours. You should get more eggs with a rooster around, too. I would be glad to help out. Natalie at prisage dot com.

YES! I read their blog everyday. They're amazing! I'd love to have a similar thing here at our house...
I'll make sure to check out your blog. Thanks!
